I created Street League Skateboarding to fill the void in professional street skating competitions. My goal was to bring the best skateboarders from around the globe together, and give them the biggest stage imaginable to compete on.
We took cues from the world's biggest professional sports leagues, designed a course that brought the streets into the arenas, developed an innovative scoring system, and, ultimately, created a one-of-a-kind sports entertainment property.
The Exit
On December 16, 2019, Street League Skateboarding merged with Nitro Circus to form Thrill One Sports and Entertainment, the world's largest independent action sports operator and media company. $100k from the SLS exit and $100k on behalf of Brian Atlas have been contributed to the Do-Or-Dier Visionary Foundation.
