Ryan Babenzien had been thinking about a new business idea, and it hit him in a place where so many great ideas emerge—the shower. Ryan had noticed his skin was feeling dry, so he did some research. He learned that municipal (tap) water contains chemicals that can be harmful to your skin and hair. With this new information, Ryan began to question why shower filters had never been thought of as a core part of beauty regimens, then decided to set out to change that.
He created Jolie, a beauty and wellness company focused on purifying water not only for skin and hair but overall well-being.
